How did this happen?

A more self-sufficient farm life is much more than I ever imagined it to be.  It is rewarding and fun to see how much my children and husband (and I) love this place!  We have a 10 acre farm and it is already run-a-muck with animals and fruit!  (hence the name of our farm) We have over 40 chickens, 2...4...6...8 rabbits (lol), a dog, two cats, two goats, and two ponies.  We have over 50 fruit trees with Apples, plums, blueberries, grapes, pears, hazelnuts, and the list goes on.  We are just starting a huge garden.  It is extremely challenging at times and the learning curve is drastic...and each day is a new story.  This site is dedicated to our farm life experience and sharing it with others.  Enjoy...

What's new on the farm?

New to the farm:

Baby rabbits are ready for homes.  We have added a 100% German Angora to our little rabbitry.  "Easter" came to us from Margie of Raspberry Farms.  Yes, it is beggining to look a lot like Easter here.

Our hen has brooded a few chicks and we have incubated many more.  We have some pure-bred rhode island reds available.

Little Nickle has found a home here.  He is a miniature pony and stands 39" tall.  He is 5 years old and is now in training to give pony rides.  He makes a great animal for our petting farm experience.

I now have a big white fluffy bunny named Grace she is a German/French Angora, she came along with her Hybrid Angora baby "Sugar Puff" (Emmett named her).  They have amazing fiber for spinning and felting.
